This is the Blood That Speaks

This is the blood that speaks… in tears to the sword
O’ sword due to your stike… Ali met his Lord
And why would you strike him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

Tonight as Haider leaves this world… its fabric left with such a void
His blood cries to this poisoned sword… O’ sword the hearts you have annoyed
The evil hand that wielded you… with Ali’s destiny has toyed
And a voice cries from the Heavens… Islam’s pillars you have destroyed

And upon every heart… this blood has been stained
Of this crime the angels… have themselves complained
Would harm want to touch him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

* * *

O’ sword how dark is your intent… that for him you’d sharpen your blade
Now voices of screaming haunt me… and through rivers of tears I wade
And the hand of death calls for him… and welcomes Haider heaven’s shade
How once I loved but to touch him… yet now from my reach Ali fades

How sad that this hero… must part from his blood
And the dust calls for him… to touch its beloved
How could the earth call him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

* * *

And calls for Haider the velvet… that upon his body shall shroud
Shroud him away from all his tears… and pull him deep into the ground
And O’ sword know that I am hurt… that your reach to him I’ve allowed
That I shall watch him be buried… whilst by him O’ sword you stood proud

Know that the day shall come… when more blood is poured
The blood that you envy… shall defeat the sword
How else can I love him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

* * *

O’ sword know how much shame I have… that I touched Haider in his prayer
As his essence is the Quran… as its verses flow in his tears
And I caused his orphans to cry… when I peeked out, it brought despair
If to them I could speak but words… it would show even his blood cares

For the heart within me… itself was poisoned
And this grip of sorrow… will not be loosened
Why should his blood mourn him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

* * *

O’ sword this heart you can’t fathom… defined by him is all moral
The crown on his head shall not move… as his blood itself is royal
His lovers you cannot misguide… his soul poison will not spoil
Neither will dust end his message… as obeys it even soil

Nature’s own existence… owes all to Ali
They’ll mourn when they’re informed… of this tragedy
Can you hope to change him… and let tears flow from him?
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword

* * *

O’ sword there is but one victor… for never cease will his heart-beat
It exists in all his lovers… so bid farewell to your deceit
As blood shall forever know him… like when Hussein with death shall meet
Under every rock shall be blood… and then the sword blood shall defeat

And from the seven skies… in tears blood shall rain
Crying when they touch earth… farewell, O’ Hussein
See how blood obeys him… and let tears flow from him
This is the blood that speaks… In tears to the sword
