Religion… or Oppression?

As buries Muhammed, Haider
Written is a darker future
As chosen is a false leader
This religion… or oppression?

* * *

Tonight Haider by Muhammed he sits and cries
As the angels wail over Ahmed’s demise
Yet in some hearts evil and thirst for power lies
So sits Haider alone whilst their plan they demise

Why does Haider stand all alone?
Has Muhammad the world not known?
To them was not his beauty shown?
Did they listen… or oppression?

With their hands together they crown a Calipha
And with their sins they all tear down Islam’s banners
So that the Quran curses them with its chapters
Even Satan walked from them with fear from Allah

Even Satan stayed clear of them
As not just Hell longs to burn them
As they have misled creation
Justice written… or oppression?

* * *

How can the words of Muhammed lie on sand strewn
When all heard “Ali’s your Master” beneath the noon
Or I am to him what Musa was to Harun
Or I am the sun and this Ali is the moon

Tell me how can you not reflect
Because sun’s light the moon reflects
So Ali shines his intellect
Revolution… or oppression?

* * *

Tell me what heart would steal from Heaven’s fragrance?
Deny her, her land this symbol of all patience
What leader says Prophets don’t leave inheritance?
Salman in the Quran is simply one instance

Can he who has not learned Quran
Even set eyes upon the throne
Of Fatima and her children
What was given… or oppression?

* * *

To paint the portrait of Zahra’s calamity
Cast your eyes to the books written in history
Even your Muslim and your beloved Bukhari
Read “He who angers Fatima has angered me”

Read with no bias in your chest
Ignore your leaders who protest
God breathed within you intellect
Your own vision… or oppression?

* * *

Books speak of how these tyrants entered against her
By burning the door that Ahmed loved with fire
How can you praise the hand that slapped this Fatima?
And the nail pierced her rib as crushed her the door

History does not hide this tale
Would he dare to touch a female
Her blood upon this tyrant’s scale
Time rewritten… or oppression?

* * *

The angels’ call when they had heard what had happened
Curse be on the first and curse be on the second
Don’t ask those who ask damn on them to be beckoned
When Fatima in every prayer two names reckoned

Two names were cursed by Zahra’s tongue
This is the heart that hates no-one
So of these names what shall become?
Will you give in… or oppression?

* * *

So what triumphs, this religion or oppression?
What Muhammad lived for is left in division
I will answer for you this difficult question
Religion prevails but by the blood of one

And he lies torn in Karbala
Islam’s teachings for his slaughter
Hussain’s blood for Islam’s future
This day undone… or oppression?
