Every day I ask my Lord to send blessings… on the greatest of mankind
If they ask why, I tell them whilst man is man… Mohammed’s one of a kind
If mankind’s good deeds were placed on a letter… by his hand it would be signed
If man were placed on the side of a scale… him on the other you’d find
Crowned by his Lord, the best of creation
Brought a mercy against man’s destruction
The ship boarded by our own salvation
Mohammed’s one of a kind
Every day I ask my Lord to send blessings… upon the sight of the blind
And I find that the teachings of this Prophet… manifest into my mind
In it his name erupts into a garden… coloured for the colour-blind
Ridden with roses of lessons for all men… the saviour of humankind
He became gardens of contemplation
Blessing him itself became a nation
Then I knew with no doubt and no question
Mohammed’s one of a kind
And I cry out glory to the Lord whose hand… the light of Ahmed designed
What a character and what a being… Living
One thousand years and yet in everything… Living
Living in his teachings like an ocean
His teachings still reach us with affection
The name remembered in each affliction
Mohammed’s one of a kind
O’ my Lord send blessings upon Mohammed… who is your blessings defined
And if they ask why daily I send blessings… Mohammed’s one of a kind
